Kviy̼itrā Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kviy̼itrā Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Kviy̼itrā Gíhm is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt packed earth streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The city's frontieer-style defences have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the city.
Right off the bat Kviy̼itrā Gíhm hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this city has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. The influx of wealth has brought with it an influx of relaxation. Everywhere you look people are enjoying their prosperity in a slow, casual, and deliberate manner. There’s no rush for anything anywhere you look.

History
Kviy̼itrā Gíhm is still bloodied by a recent violent conflict. A crushing bandit raid, a lost siege, getting caught at the periphery of a major battle, or some other calamity has inflicted severe damage on the place. Some communities may suffer a longer-term version of this, their youths lost in a grinding, endless battle against some perpetual threat.
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Kviy̼itrā Gíhm was attacked by soldiers from another nation, with orders to raid Kviy̼itrā Gíhm. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Kviy̼itrā Gíhm lost 166 people, 184 livestock, and 55 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 111, when members of Kviy̼itrā Gíhm's militia enacted an operation to deliver supplies to a specific group of civilians. The operation was complicated by extremely hostile wildlife which took many out of action. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the vault, which ended in defeat for Kviy̼itrā Gíhm's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Kviy̼itrā Gíhm's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
